Movies in the Garden
The first of a series of "Movies in the Garden" will be Friday, October 2, at 8 p.m. It should be a lovely cool evening to enjoy a vintage film (rated PG) with friends. Bring a chair or blanket, and your beverage to 411 Gordonston Ave. The lawn will open at 7:30, movie will begin promptly at 8:00. Light refreshments will be available. Aloha, Luau!
​ Get on your grass skirts! The annual Luau is scheduled for this Saturday, SEPTEMBER 12. There is much to be done to prepare for it. Park trustee Mike Moran is asking for help to do a mini clean-up that morning from 8 - 11 a.m. (or as long as you are able in that window). The emphasis will be on removing deadfall, vines from trees, trimming along bottom of fence. Bring clippers, hoes, wheelbarrows and a gas powered string trimmer.
